Debra Jeter “I just killed my children”.
“One of them is dead. She’s dead, dead, the other one, she wants to be saved…”” Debra Jeter
It is almost 10 years since Debra Jeter placed that infamous chilling 911 call where she calmly informs the operator “I just killed my children”. The tragedy on June 05th 2009 left 12 year old Kelsey dead and 13 year old Kierstan fighting for her life.

May — Divorce and a Suicide Attempt
In May 2009 33 year old Debra Jeter was devastated over the recent separation from her Husband Lee Jeter. Lee had begun divorce proceedings and a distraught Debra was embroiled in a bitter acrimonious child custody battle over their two young daughters Kierstan (13) and Kelsey (12).
Unable to face the thought of losing both her husband and her children, just a little over a week after Mother’s Day on May 21st 2009 Debra attempted suicide whilst at home with her two young daughters.
